When this pattern was released in the fall, I didn't particularly care for it and had no plans to purchase it. But then some versions started popping up in the flickr pool that I really liked so I bit the bullet and bought it.
Details:
The size 6 fits spot on right now. It's a little short (more like a tunic) so I have plans to sew up some black leggings. MG saw me working on the dress Monday night and begged me to finish it so she could wear it to school on Tuesday. Even though I don't like sewing at night (I make too many mistakes!), she was so excited that I couldn't bear to disappoint her.:) She paired the Book Report Dress with black tights and knit shorts for modesty.
In the fall, I should be able to use the size 6 again with some added length to account for all the growing that's sure to happen this summer!
