I love this girl.
She is funny, kind, bright, caring.
And beautiful.
Yes, she's a teenager but I rather like having a teenager. It's not all fun and games...just like having a toddler isn't. They make mistakes. You butt heads. But then you get a glimpse of the person they are becoming...and WOW! I'm humbled that I get to be her mom.
Pattern: Ottobre Design #30 "Sulka" jersey dress
Size: 140 width, 158 length
Fabric: Cotton/Poly blend from Joann Fabrics
Mods: Skipped the outer bodice front (gathered with 5 bows down the front) and the sleeve gathers
Notes: I applied a knit interfacing strip to the bottom of the bodice to stabilize that seam. The skirt could be a little longer but with tights or leggings on underneath it's fine.
I used to say that 3-4 years of age was my favorite stage of childhood. But you know what, I'm starting to think the teenage years might just be my fave.:)
