2013 hasn't gotten off to a roaring sewing start as I'd hoped. Instead, I've been battling a nasty upper respiratory bug. Bleck! But I was able to sew up a few small projects once I felt able to leave my cocoon bed.
Pattern: Oliver + S Hopscotch top, Size 6
Mods: added 2 inches to body and sleeve length
Fabric: Roxy jersey knit from Girl Charlee
This fabric is a bear to work with as it's super thin. But I persevered and MG has a new top. I doubt I'll let BK wear it as she's too rough on her clothes.
Exhibit A:
I had to repair another mysterious hole that somehow appeared near the sleeve hem of this RTW top after BK wore it. I covered the hole with a starfish in the same manner as the heart patch.
Pattern: Ottobre Design 06/07 #28 "Lily" Leggings, size 110
Fabric: Brown cotton/lycra ribbing from Joann Fabrics
The leggings are way over due as the third piece to this favorite outfit:
And they'll go nicely under BK's Puppet Show dress too.:)
