I do love this pattern! I've sewn 4 Mini Penny Pinafores so far. A dress each for the little girls, one tunic to share (Molly is wearing it right now!), and another tunic that we gave as a birthday gift last weekend.

pattern: Mini Penny from Kitschy Coo
size: 5/6 with a 7 length
fabric: cotton interlock for centers and sleeves, cotton/lycra jersey for side panels
I chose to use a smaller size for MG since she is built more like her older sister. The orange/brown dress I made for BK fits her too...it's more flow-y on MG.
See the great fit through the chest!
The Mini Penny is for sizes 6 months to 10 years of age. It comes in two lengths...knee length and tunic. It also has the option of cap sleeves or long sleeves.
I love how the Mini Penny looks with contrasting fabrics but it's just as sweet in one fabric!
I found this adorable print at Joann Fabrics not that long ago. I kind of wanted to use it for me but I'm really more a solids or stripe kind of person.
If you're interested in making a Mini Penny of your own, the pattern is available HERE. :)
*I did receive a copy of the Penny and Mini Penny patterns for testing purposes. All opinions are as always my own.;)
